One-on-One Private Coaching is available for kids, teens and adults at all levels of experience. Let professional Acting Coach, Teacher & Director Mimi Eisman, work with you on your next specific audition. Together we will strive to make your audition so dynamic it will leave a very positive & memorable impression. No More Winging it!!!!
Private Coaching is also great for Monologues, College Auditions, Agent Representation, Governor's School Auditions, Speeches, learning about the 'Business of Acting', Pageants, Forensic Competitions, Networking and so much more!
All acting classes start with a variety of warm-up exercises using improvisations and theatre games.
Other material covered will include:
Audition Technique -helping student's learn to love and overcome the nervousness of auditioning. "Taking the room" with charisma, charm and sparkle to make a memorable impression will also be studied.
Acting for the Camera -Film Acting will be covered through improvisation and script work. Students will delve into the creative process, learn to take direction, and find ways to be in the moment. Taking direction, making adjustments, character developement, text/subtext, verbal and non-verbal acting will be covered. Students will come away with the ability to make strong and clear choices.
Acting for Television Commercials will also be explored.
